The House of Welcome -TESC Longhouse, the soul, breath, life of the Evergreen State College. Will be visiting with Colleen Jollie, Judith Brainerd, Lawanna Bradley, Tina Kuckkahn and Laura Grabhorn. Tune into KAOS radio this Sunday, Jan 29th from 4-6 pm.

We will be visiting with Colleen Jollie, Judith Brainerd, and Lawanna Bradley from 4 pm -5 pm and learn how it all began 20 years ago. Then from 5 pm -6 pm we will be speaking with the Director Tina Kuckkahn and  Assistant Director Laura Grabhorn about what is happening now and the future of the Longhouse.

Leonard Peltier is censored yet again, this time a giant statue that was removed. We will be hearing from the artist on what really happened. Rigo 23, on “Make No Bones About It.” Jan 15th, 2017 at 5pm. Obama Free Leonard Peltier!

Rigo 23 is a visual artist working in site and cultural specific settings, often in collaboration with others and over extended periods of time. His works occupy unstructured public space as well as designed for art appreciation spaces. Collective memory and markers of time are central concerns. Recent group exhibitions include the 12th Sharjah Biennial, United Arab Emirates; 5th Auckland Triennial, New Zealand; 2nd Aichi Triennale, Japan; 1st Kochi-Muziris Biennale, India; Regionale XII, Austria; The Jerusalem Show IV, Palestine; 3rd Shenzhen/Hong-Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture, China; 10th Lyon Biennale, France and 4th Liverpool Biennial, United Kingdom.
